Students will receive the highest quality one-one-one instruction that focuses on STRATEGY rather than content. You don't need me to re-learn Algebra or Fractions. You can do that will some Aamzon books are a cheap Math tutor. I am a GRE/GMAT specialist, having written questions for the actual exams. I use a lot of my own proprietary materials, not the generic questions you find online or in prep books. In addition to the one-on-one instruction, we will use a Project Management Tracker to ensure that not only we are hitting our milestones, but also experiencing the incremental score increases we are looking for in order to hit our goal score on Test Day. My specialty is getting clients into the 330+ range on the GRE and 705+ on the GMAT. Depending on where you are starting, this may take 6 weeks or 12. But I am with you through to the end until we cross the finish line together. But how? Well, first thing's first--I know my clients are working full time with demanding schedules and full lives. As such, the strategies I teach are intended to save you time from the traditional content dumping that most online websites and books offer (who want to re-learn a 200-page books on Algebra of Geometry). Next, I leave no guess work on your part. After each session, you will receive a customized syllabus based on what I uncovered are YOUR specific weak areas, and also homework to reinforce and master the strategies we go over in our private sessions. There is no cookie cutter methods or homework assignments. Everything I do is carefully curated with one goal in mind--your score increase. We will take weekly practice exams, that we will then rip apart during our sessions, to ensure we are making incremental progress on our scores heading into Test Day. Anxiety reducing techniques, math phobia, verbal strategies and a carefully laid out between-the-sessions syllabus is used to ensure all bases are covered. I am not a part timer. I do this full time. And my results speak for themselves. The national average for students taking the GRE/GMAT is roughly 3.8. My student's average is 1.4. Do all students hit their score the first time? No. But my students don't take the test 4 times. 1-2 is the average to hit our goal score. A large fraction of my clients are those that tried cheaper, less experienced tutors that amount to baby sitters watching you do math problems and helping you. I am much more than that. I also charge a higher hourly rate. But I always say, 5 hours with an amateur is equivalent to one hour with me. In the long term, I believe I save my clients time, money, frustration and having to take the test repeatedly.
