About Christina
I got my MBA from Michigan Ross on a full scholarship and MLT, Consortium, Forte, and Toigo fellowships. Now I’m the Lead Product Manager for Payments at Deel, one of the fastest growing startups in history. My clients have landed roles at Amazon, Microsoft, Nike, Zillow, Hulu, Tencent, Unity Games, Oracle, IBM, Dell, Tesla and others. They have also been accepted at HBS, MIT Sloan, Northwestern Kellogg, Columbia, and Michigan. I particularly enjoy crafting nontraditional backgrounds into compelling stories for resumes, essays, and interviews. I'm a Latina, Texan, and the first in my family to graduate from college.
Why do I coach?
In 2012 I became the first person in my family to graduate from college. Mentorship and coaching that I received during my MBA admissions process completely changed how I told my story, helping me get a full scholarship and pivot into the tech industry. I enjoy the challenge of pulling disparate experiences into a compelling story, strategically building applications, and preparing for interviews. Ultimately, education has been the great equalizer of opportunity in my life and that is why I coach.
