About Claire

Hi, I'm Claire! I graduated in 2023 from HBS (MBA) and HKS (Public Policy Masters), and I'm now working as a freelance consultant in Brooklyn. I use my product and privacy background to help companies navigate tricky regulatory environments and love working with people across sectors. My career has taken a lot of twists and turns - I started my career as a full-time campaign organizer, shifted to sales at a startup, then started my own women's leisurewear brand, and finally, ended up spending the bulk of my time pre-grad school at Meta where I started in product and ended in privacy. I believe in following your own passions and intuition to build the career that supports your life goals. I'm a California native who loves breweries (proud former President of HBS Brew Club), reading, and writing old-fashioned letters.

Why do I coach?

I wouldn't be here without the support of many mentors, and in particular, the astute counsel of my own MBA coach. Behind every successful person is a community of people who listened, gave thoughtful advice, and guided their next steps. My own story is no different. I was lucky to work with a wonderful coach who transformed the application process from one that felt overwhelming and impossible at times to one that felt approachable and integral to my future goals. Since then, I've worked with many people to accomplish their next steps, taking what I learned through my personal experience and refining my approach. I take great joy in helping people highlight their unique stories and find confidence in the process.
