About John

What's up, I'm John Kreider! I'm a first generation college student, was a Senior Associate Consultant at Bain & Company and currently work in Private Equity as an Associate. I split my time on Leland between MBA admissions coaching and MBB case interview prep. On the MBA side, I was accepted to Stanford GSB, Wharton, Booth, and Kellogg with over $300K in scholarship. On the MBB case interview side, I have personally done over 100 cases and given hundred more, helping dozens of students get offers at McKinsey, Bain, and BCG. I've also gotten others hired from industry, which is an uncommon strength.

Why do I coach?

On the MBA side, I coach because I believe that everyone qualified has an "X" factor, and leveraging that not only helps you get admitted, but helps you figure out which MBA program you truly belong at. On the MBB side, I have unique insights into how to case interview, and as a founder of one of Bain's largest affinity groups, I can help you with the networking path.

My responsibilities include serving as a board observer, financial modeling, conducting company and market due diligence, preparing and presenting investment committee memos, deal sourcing, IR reporting and managing advisors.
