250+ people coached for MBA

Open to working with clients outside the U.S.

As an Associate Director of MBA Admissions at NYU Stern, I actively recruited domestic and international applicants, reading 400+ candidate files and interviewing 100+ applicants, annually. I left in 2015 to start my own consulting firm, and have since advised 250+ applicants into their dream schools. As I enter my eighth season, I have seen it all: successful reapplications, last minute waitlist pulls, and sub-3.0 GPA’s getting into M7 schools. I have also helped clients secure over $5M in scholarships. Coaching is my full-time job, not a side hustle. I take the role seriously, and promise to care about your application as much as you do.

About Lindsay

I'm the founder of Sage Admit, an MBA admissions consulting firm. I have over 15 years of experience in higher education and admissions coaching, and have helped applicants earn spots at all top MBA, MSBA, and MSF programs. With a master’s degree in psychology, I started my coaching career at Columbia University, where I advised undergraduates as an Advising Dean. I later moved downtown to NYU Stern, where I was an Associate Director of MBA Admissions. As part of the Admissions Committee, I actively recruited domestic and international applicants, reading 400+ candidate files and interviewing 100+ applicants, annually. I left in 2015 to start my own consulting firm because I felt that the next generation of business leaders must do better for the world, and I wanted to help them tell their stories in a more compelling, yet still MBA-compatible way. As I enter my ninth season, I have seen it all: successful reapplications, last minute waitlist pulls, and sub-3.0 GPA’s getting into M7 schools. I have also helped clients secure over $5M in scholarships. I do this work full-time, and bring a hands-on, down-to-earth approach to coaching, with a focus on nailing the end-to-end strategy. Consistently referred to as a ‘deep listener’ by former clients, my goal is to help you uncover your unique stories, find your voice, and discover your worth. I have a particular interest in promoting diversity and inclusivity in business and have been a guest speaker at the Reaching Out Pre-MBA Conference, Forté MBA Launch, MBA Insider Podcast, and MBA Waves. I am also on the Conference Committee for AIGAC, the Association of International Admissions Consultants, and recently earned recognition as one of Poets & Quants top consultants. I live in suburban New Jersey with my husband and daughters, and meet clients virtually.

Why do I coach?

Twenty years ago I majored in psychology with the goal of helping people. I didn't know what that meant exactly, but after roles in health services, academic research, and later, higher education, I found my true calling - application coaching. Combining my psychology degree with my experiences in business school admissions, I strive to listen deeply so I can help you uncover your unique stories, calm your fears, and discover your worth. I work with only 10 clients per round, which allows me to bring a hands-on, personalized approach to coaching, with a focus on nailing the end-to-end strategy.
