Recruiting for private equity can be an extremely daunting task. Private equity interviews are tough and require hours of preparation, but first you need to get in the door! Navigating headhunters, networking, resume prep and figuring out what it is you really want can be extremely difficult without the guidance of someone who has been through it all before. This package is designed to help you prep for everything up to getting your foot in the door and a seat at the table which is half the battle. The schedule and staging of this package can be flexible and we can work together to figure out what makes the most sense but here is a general outline: - 1-hour intro call. In order for me to best help you I need to get to know you. We will walk through your background, resume and walk through the list of questions you should be asking yourself in thinking through where you want to be in your next role. - Once I understand your initial preferences and understand where you want to be, we can take some time apart to think through a plan of attack. This can give you time to think a bit more about our first discussion and give me time to work on your resume and recruiting strategy. - 1.5-hour follow-up call. We will walk through your edited resume and discuss any changes to best position it for the role you are looking for. Then we will spend time walking through some high level questions that headhunters will cover before sending you along to a firm including: telling your story, communicating your preferences and walking through your deal experience. - 1-hour wrap-up call. This is a collaborative session in which we will discuss your strategy around headhunters and networking. Together we will make a list of your top firms, which headhunters cover those firms and how we can best navigate your way to landing an interview.
