Patricia's MBA Qualifications
An experienced startup operator in strategy and product management, ex-strategy consultant, and incoming Wharton MBA, I'm here to help you develop a strong application to the deferred MBA programs of your choice. In college, I applied for MBAs as an ex-classical musician seeking to pursue a career in music education social enterprise, and was admitted to three M7 deferred MBA programs (Wharton, Kellogg, CBS) with merit scholarship. I strongly believe that everyone has an unique angle to their candidacy, and hope to help folks with non-traditional backgrounds achieve their MBA goals. Additionally, coming from a T2 consulting background, I also understand how difficult standing out in deferred admissions can be. For folks coming from overrepresented consulting / tech backgrounds, I can be a trusted partner in helping you refine your story throughout your application to ensure that your strengths "pop out" to adcomm, and I'll cheer you on every step of the way!

About Patricia
Hi! I'm Patricia. I come from a less-represented background in the business world: I started my career as a classical musician. Fun fact: my first job was in middle school playing viola for a Beatles cover band in the San Francisco Bay Area! I entered Northwestern to study classical music and become a full-time performing musician, but was set off track by multiple injuries. However, through college experiences in growth-stage startups and student leadership opportunities, I landed a strategy consulting summer offer that I converted to a full-time position. I applied to deferred MBA programs my senior year, and was admitted to multiple M7 programs with merit scholarship. Currently, I am a PM at ThredUp (and their first BizOps hire) and am an incoming Wharton MBA student. My passion is in teaching others: I've taught music theory / history and instrument lessons since the age of 15, and thrive in seeing others win. I coached high school students for college admissions for free during COVID, and was able to motivate a low-income student to not only apply to but also get accepted by Stanford. I'd love to help you achieve your goals as well!
Why do I coach?
I love to see others succeed and reach their full potential :D
